About

Thanks for taking the time to learn about me and my work. My name is John, and I’ve spent the past five years immersed in the creative media world—from audio and foley engineering to video production, graphic design, and web/software development. I’m currently working on one project, leading marketing and media design for Lixxr – A Hangover Defense Company.

I know a lot of people say this, but I truly love to learn. Anything involving creative media or technology pulls me in, and my entire education in this field has been self-taught. Countless hours, late nights, and lots of coffee have equipped me with the knowledge I possess today. If I don’t understand something, it’s my nature to learn that topic in its entirety.

Before stepping into creative media as a career, I was just a high-school kid with big dreams in music. I had no guidance, no one to help me develop my brand—so I jumped in with zero knowledge and figured it out along the way. Days turned into weeks, then months, then years, and that path has led me through nearly every corner of the creative world. Along the way I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with incredibly talented people.

I still love making music and always have personal projects in the works, though that’s not the primary focus of this site. If you’d like to explore that side of my work—my software engineering experiments, audio production, and personal creative journey—feel free to visit my alias under Howard Tren.

This is a song I made called ‘put the blame on me’ that I fully produced, mixed and mastered. The video was directed, edited by me alongside with the talented Easton Parkhurst who also filmed the video.
